Jeanette Patindol is currently a fulltime Asst. Professor at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City, Philippines. She teaches economics, communications, futures studies and popular culture courses, which reflect her own growth in her interests, work and volunteer endeavors.

She is also a multi-awarded children’s book author in the Philippines. She is a member of Pax Christi Pilipinas (which is a country member of Pax Christi International), the World Futures Studies Federation, The Peace and Conflict Journalism Network (PECOJON) and the International Peace Research Association. She also does marketing and customer relations work for the family businesses, The Butterfly Source, and GiftsNHouseware by Gaea, Inc.
